This was my first true, west coast sunset since moving here from New Jersey. The day was spent driving the coast near my new home in the South Bay to get away from the heat wave. I've been spending each weekend exploring more of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Pacific Coast Highway in search of views like these. When the sky lit up a pastel red and orange, it was easy to sit back and take in the fact that this is what life is looking like for the foreseeable future. Crazy.
I've been drawn to the coastline ever since I arrived here and I plan on documenting the power of the Pacific and the unique cliffside that still seems so foreign to me. Expect plenty more sunset at the shore!
